100 Women Charitable Foundation is a women's philanthropic giving group bringing together over one hundred women in a common purpose: to award high-impact financial grants to San Francisco Peninsula non-profit organizations. We are a community of women dedicated to improving the lives of those less fortunate in the Santa Clara and San Mateo counties by collectively funding grants to charitable initiatives, specifically in the areas of education, family services and health and wellness.

For those who have already joined us, we thank you. Without you, our dream of providing large impact grants to
nonprofits in our community would remain just that - a dream. If you haven't yet joined us, we hope you'll take the
time to explore our site and to learn more about us.
100 Women Charitable Foundation membership is open to any and all women who believe a diverse group of
women, by joining together, can make a big difference in our community.
In previous years, by pooling our financial contributions, our members have invested in local community non-profits that provide solutions for people who lack access to basic necessities such as health care, quality shelter, education and job training.
What [100 Women Charitable Foundation] has done is quite amazing. Being able to bring so many women together to positively impact the lives of so many is just genuinely refreshing. I am impressed and thankful there are good souls that do such amazing work.

Michelle, Member
Congratulations to our 2010 grant winners. In March of this year six non-profit organizations received a total of $126,000 in grant awards from the 100 Women Charitable Foundation members. Three of our six finalists received grants of $37,000, as over 350 women joined together to hear presentations and vote for their choices to receive this year's major grant awards.
Also awarded were three investment grants of $5,000 each to our runner's up; making good on our foundation's promise to award 100% of members' annual donations to the community. To date, our foundation's combined community contributions is in excess of $300,000, giving annual grants since 2007.
Members of the 100 Women Charitable Foundation voted to give our 2010 major grant awards to:
1. Community Health Awareness Council: The Blossom Project
2. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI): Peer Pals Project
3. Silicon Valley Children's Fund (SVCF): High School Roadmap to Independence
We extend our heartfelt thanks to each of the deserving finalists, Sunday Friends, ALearn and Sacred Heart Nativity School of San Jose. The work of these non-profits in our community continues to inspire us. We invite Members or friends who wish to further help one of these organizations can do so by visiting their websites.
One of 100 Women Charitable Foundation's goals is to change the face of philanthropy in the San Francisco Bay Area area. By involving members in the due diligence and research process, we raise awareness of the many worthwhile charitable opportunities in the area, and inspire our members to become involved with these charities in a more personal way.
If you are interested in becoming more involved in the 100 Women Charitable Foundation grant evaluation process please let us know!
The 100 Women Charitable Foundation's mission is to provide access for more women to be involved in local philanthropy, raise awareness of the unmet needs of nonprofits serving the Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, inspire Members to become more involved with these charities, and to make a significant difference in the long-term sustainability of our local nonprofit community.
In the four years since its founding, 100 Women Charitable Foundation has given over $200,000
in grants to Bay Area non-profit organizations serving the Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, and we've raised another $100,000 to be given away in March of 2011, making our
total contri-
butions today well over $300,000.
