The 100 Women Charitable Foundation started in 2006 with 100 women willing to donate $100 each and has grown to include a membership base of 531 women who raised $171,000 in 2015. Since the organization is run 100% by volunteers, 100% of member donations are donated to worthy nonprofit organizations.
“The 100 Women Charitable Foundation exemplifies the power of women giving as one,” said Teri Zingale, one of the founders. “These women, working together as a collective, have now contributed more than a million dollars to deserving non-profit organizations in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.”
