Each year our grant cycle starts with current members recommending charities who might be in need of our grant money. Full list of requirements are here, but the basics are local charities working in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties for the benefit of under served populations. The first step is the completion of the Letter of Inquiry which attests to the organization meeting our requirements. We will accept the first 45 LOIs that are qualified, and invite them to complete the full application over the summer. We have hit that limit the last 3 years, so members, renew if you haven’t yet, and then send your charity to our Apply for a Grant page. Again, all applicants MUST be referred by a current member.
