Annual Event Chair — co-chair needed
OperationalCo-chair needed
We're looking for passionate, community-minded volunteers to lead the group that will make our Annual Voting Event and Dinner happen in March 2027.
Purpose: Leads the planning and full operational execution of the annual voting dinner, managing logistics, vendors, committee members, and day-of operations to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience for Giving Members.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end event planning timeline from concept through execution
- Manage venue, catering, AV, and vendor relationships
- Lead and coordinate the Annual Event Committee, assigning workstreams and ensuring follow-through
- Develop and manage the event budget in coordination with the Treasurer
- Coordinate with the Membership & Development Director on Giving Member registration and attendance
- Coordinate with the Marketing & Communications Director on event promotion and communications
- Manage day-of operations and serve as primary point of contact for all event logistics
- Coordinate with the Volunteer Chair for day-of volunteer staffing
- Conduct a post-event debrief with committee members and report outcomes to the Events & Engagement Chair
Time Commitment
Varies throughout the year, starting in September with early planning and peaking in January, February, and early March as the event approaches. Splitting the role, or even supporting from out of the area, is also an option!

Committee Coordination Chair — grant committee set-up & materials
OperationalSummer Intensive
We're looking for a passionate, community-minded person to join the Committee management team, focused on recruiting volunteers, setting up committee rosters, and creating the documentation and materials needed to run the committees. Unlike our other year-round roles, this one is focused in June and July and then ends as Committee execution is taken over by another experienced co-chair. A small investment with a big impact!
Purpose: Recruits co-chairs and committee members for each of our three Grant Review Committees (Education, Family, and Health & Wellness), ensuring each has a balance of new and experienced members. Also creates and updates all materials and voting documents co-chairs use throughout the grant evaluation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and support Grant Review Co-Leads for each focus area at the start of each cycle; lead co-chairs in setting up meeting dates
- Recruit committee members and assign them to committees, based largely on availability while balancing new and experienced members
- Receive the vetted grant applicant pool from the Grant Program Chair and distribute it to Grant Review Leads across the three focus areas
- Contribute process insights and evaluation outcomes to support grantee impact communications, including the newsletter
- Own and maintain all required committee materials and tools (list maintained in the Committee process documentation)
- Ensure all committee members are paid Giving Members; manage day-to-day conflict of interest disclosures in coordination with the Grant Director
- Coordinate with the Committee Execution Chair and Grant Director as needed to ensure all committee set-up needs are fulfilled
Time Commitment
The vast majority of this work happens in June and July, in preparation for committee meetings starting in August. Even during this busy period, the total is about 40 hours spread over two months. Splitting the role is always an option!
Requirements
- Strong skills and experience in complex communications and coordination
- Experience and comfort with Google Sheets, Google Drive, online surveys, and other online tools

Events & Experience Chair
Operational
Join our Events coordination team. The time commitment is flexible and averages just a few hours per week throughout the year. A small investment with a big impact!
Purpose: Provides strategic oversight for 100 Women's fundraising events, including our all-hands voting event and dinner each March plus 2–3 smaller informal events throughout the year. Focuses on the overall Giving Member experience, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a high-quality, engaging experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Define vision and strategy for the organization's events and overall Giving Member experience
- Ensure successful planning, execution, and overall experience of the annual voting event
- Provide oversight and direction to Giving Member engagement programs (e.g., 100 Minutes)
- Identify opportunities to strengthen Giving Member engagement through events and in-person experiences
- Oversee volunteer coordination strategy across events and programs

Grants Director
Board Level
Join our Grants oversight team. The time commitment is flexible and averages just a few hours per week throughout the year.
Purpose: Provides strategic oversight for 100 Women's grantmaking function and ensures alignment with our mission and Giving Member expectations. The Grants Director ensures integrity, fairness, and consistency across the entire grant process, which includes two important functions:
1) Managing communications and submissions from outside non-profits applying for grants
- Develop and maintain grant evaluation criteria and standards in partnership with the Grant Review Committee Chair
- Oversee grant LOI and application timelines, structure, and criteria, and confirm the eligibility of each applicant (with help from the Treasurer)
- Provide oversight and guidance on any grant-related issues, questions, or decisions
- Conduct final review and approval of LOIs and applications
- Hold ultimate accountability for conflict of interest policy compliance across all grant review participants; support the Grant Review Committee Chair in ensuring disclosures are managed appropriately
- Oversee the finalist announcement process and timing, and act as main communication point for these organizations leading into the Annual Voting Event
2) Structuring and managing internal committees (with assistance from the Committees Chair)
These committees evaluate applications and recommend which applicants are most deserving to be forwarded to the entire organization as finalists for grant awards.
- Oversee internal committee formation and processes, from recruiting committee co-chairs through integrity of decision-making and committee-level voting
- Ensure committees are formed with a balance of experienced and new members
- Maintain a list of committee candidates for continuity year to year, including tracking participation history
- Maintain and update committee set-up process documentation and rosters, archiving as needed
The Grants Director also sits on the 100 Women Board and keeps the organization up to date on grant status, progress, and any issues that arise throughout the year.

Membership & Development Director
Board LevelNew
We're looking for a community-minded leader to join our Board of Directors. This role shapes how we build and sustain our Giving Member community and helps identify what the organization needs to support membership growth and development. The time commitment averages a few hours per week, including a monthly virtual Board meeting.
Purpose: Provides strategic leadership and oversight of Giving Member recruitment, engagement, and development, identifying what the organization needs to build a strong, sustainable giving community.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic leadership & member growth
- Set strategy and goals to recruit, engage, and retain Giving Members
- Monitor membership trends, retention, and participation to identify growth opportunities and present actionable insights to the Board
Cross-functional collaboration
- Partner with the Marketing & Communications Director on member communications and engagement strategy

Volunteer Engagement Chair

We're looking for a passionate, community-minded person to create a position dedicated to managing volunteer opportunities, recruiting new volunteers, and matching people to opportunities.
Purpose: Recruits, coordinates, and supports volunteers across 100 Women events and organizational activities throughout the year, ensuring a positive volunteer experience that builds long-term engagement and connection to the organization's mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the volunteer roster, tracking availability, skills, and interests
- Recruit volunteers from the Giving Member community through personal outreach, the volunteer portal, and referrals
- Coordinate volunteer assignments across events and organizational activities in partnership with relevant chairs
- Manage all volunteer communications: confirmations, reminders, day-of instructions, and follow-up
- Coordinate day-of volunteer execution as needed, ensuring roles are staffed and volunteers are prepared
- Support volunteer engagement and retention by recognizing contributions, gathering feedback after events, and maintaining ongoing relationships

Membership Recruitment Chair
Operational
Join our Membership engagement team. The time commitment is flexible and averages just a few hours per week throughout the year.
Purpose: Owns and executes outreach and recruitment efforts to grow the Giving Member community, identifying and engaging prospective members in support of the Membership & Development Director's growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective Giving Members through outreach, referrals, and campaigns
- Own and manage the annual recruitment calendar, including "Spread the Word" efforts and prospecting campaigns
- Support and coordinate recruitment-focused events and outreach opportunities, for example:
- Marketing: direct mail, mentions in local publications, outreach to corporate women's groups, personal outreach campaigns
- Public facing: tabling at farmers markets, collaborations with local businesses such as wineries, clothing or jewelry stores, fitness studios, and community festivals
- Member outreach programs: Spread the Word events, referral programs
- Track and follow up with prospective Giving Members through the pipeline
- Partner with Marketing & Communications on recruitment campaigns and messaging
- Leverage events as recruitment touchpoints in coordination with the Events & Engagement Chair

Membership Engagement & Retention Chair

Purpose: Owns the Giving Member retention and engagement experience, ensuring existing members feel connected, informed, and valued throughout the year through touchpoints, renewal outreach, and community-building activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support Giving Member engagement touchpoints and calendar throughout the year
- Execute member retention outreach, including renewal reminders and follow-up with lapsed members
- Coordinate and host member touchpoint events and activities that deepen connection and involvement, such as wine events, seasonal member gatherings, New Giving Member Orientation, and appreciation activities
- Gather and synthesize Giving Member feedback and report insights to the Membership & Development Director
- Partner with Marketing & Communications to ensure consistent and meaningful Giving Member communication
- Support planning and execution of New Giving Member Orientation to ensure a warm and informative welcome
- Track renewal rates and engagement participation and report outcomes to the Membership & Development Director
- Identify and flag members at risk of lapsing and develop targeted re-engagement outreach
- Share ideas for new engagement opportunities with the Membership & Development Director
