Open Board Positions

We’re looking for two amazing humans to join our board and help 100 Women keep doing what we do best: getting money into the hands of local nonprofits that need it. If you like spreadsheets, people, or ideally both, keep reading.

Grants Director

Board Position

Ever wonder what happens between “we voted to fund this nonprofit” and the check actually landing in their hands? That’s you. As Grants Director, you’re the person making sure our entire grantmaking process runs with integrity, fairness, and consistency — from the first application to the final award.

You’ll provide strategic oversight for 100 Women’s grantmaking function, keeping everything aligned with our mission and living up to what our Giving Members expect from us. It’s part strategy, part stewardship, and 100% central to why this Foundation exists in the first place.

What you’ll bring:

  • An eye for process and a love of getting the details right
  • A strong sense of fairness (you’ll be the one making sure every applicant gets a fair shot)
  • Comfort working closely with committees and fellow board members

Volunteer Chair

Board Position

If your favorite part of any event is making sure everyone else is having a great time, this one’s for you. As Volunteer Chair, your job is to take care of our fabulous volunteer community — full stop.

That means figuring out where and how volunteers are needed (special events, the Annual Dinner, committee work, and everything in between), recruiting new volunteers to join the fun, and — most importantly — taking care of the volunteers we already have by matching them with opportunities that actually feel meaningful.

What you’ll bring:

  • Genuine warmth and people skills (you’ll be the friendly face of volunteering at 100 Women)
  • Organizational chops for juggling multiple events and needs at once
  • A knack for matchmaking — people to purpose, not people to people (although, hey, no judgment)
