- 100 Minutes Returns to Hope’s CornerJoin us as we come together to give 100 minutes of time and care.

One Friend. Twice the Impact.
As we head into the final three months of 2026, we have a simple challenge for every 100 Women Giving Member: invite one friend to become a member.
Our fundraising goal for 2026 is $300,000, and we’ve raised $79,000 so far. There’s still time to make a meaningful difference, and each of us can help.
Think of one woman in your life who cares about our community and would love being part of a group of women making a collective impact. Invite her to join 100 Women. Tell her why you became a member. Share what you’ve experienced. Help her discover what happens when women come together to support local nonprofits.
Every new member brings more than a financial contribution. She brings another voice, another perspective, another vote, and another woman committed to making a difference in our community.
And as we approach our 20th anniversary, growing our membership is one of the most meaningful ways we can build on what we’ve accomplished and ensure that the next 20 years are even more impactful.
Need a little help making the ask?
We’ve created a sample “Please Join Me” letter that you can personalize and send to a friend, colleague, neighbor, or family member. It explains what 100 Women is all about, how membership works, and the impact we’ve made together. Use it as written or simply borrow some of the language to make your own invitation.

One friend. One invitation. One new member.
Who will you invite to join you?
100 Minutes: Returning to Hope’s Corner
Thank you to everyone who joined us at Hope’s Corner this summer. Together our team prepared 100 meals for our neighbors who are living in vehicles.
100 Minutes, the program that provides volunteers for 100 Women grant recipients, is returning to Hope’s Corner this fall to prepare more meals.
Tasks may include washing and chopping vegetables, preparing proteins, assembling meals, or washing dishes.
Please vote for the date(s) that work best for your schedule by Monday, October 26 so that we can secure times with the organization. All time slots are 2:30–5:30 p.m. in Mountain View.
- Thursday, November 19
- Thursday, December 3
- Monday, December 14
All volunteers must be 14+ and registered in advance. Hope’s Corner can accept groups of 4–8 volunteers.

What Can $10,500 Change?
A 20-Year Story of Belief, Growth and Impact
In 2007, 100 Women awarded a $10,500 grant to a young nonprofit with a bold idea: using yoga, mindfulness, and creative expression to help traumatized youth heal. Back then, The Art of Yoga Project operated in a single location with a $60,000 budget.
Today, it has grown into a $900,000+ organization spanning about 30 sites across the Bay Area. Founder Mary Lynn Fitton still reflects on what that early support meant:
“Your organization was absolutely instrumental in our inception, our sustainability, and our long-term success. When 100 Women believe in you, other people start believing in you.”
This is more than a story about funding. It’s a powerful reminder of what collective giving can achieve when we support an idea early, making it a perfect feature for our 20th anniversary year.
Meet our new Website Co-Chairs: Karen Chang and Millie Sheehan
We’re thrilled to welcome two new Giving Members who are sharing their talents to help make our website smarter, brighter, and even more fun to explore.
Karen Chang is our tech whiz, working her magic behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly.
Millie Sheehan is our content and design guru, bringing fresh ideas, personality, and plenty of sparkle to every page.
Two talented women. Two very different superpowers. One fabulous website!
We’re so grateful they’re putting their expertise to work for our 100 Women community.
Karen Chang
My name is Karen, and I work on websites at a university. I’m currently in a Master’s program that I intend to finish at the end of next year.
In my spare time, I like to play Tetris, escape escape rooms, and solve jigsaw puzzles. I’m trying to get into speed puzzling!
I became involved with 100 Women through Mary Ann Poulos. After talking about it with her, I realized that it’s an organization with talented individuals making a difference in our community, and I wanted to be a part of it.
Fun fact: In 2025, I accomplished my New Year’s resolution of summiting Mission Peak once a month.
Millie Sheehan
My name is Amelia, but everyone calls me Millie. I graduated from Chapman University in May with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing. I’m currently looking for a job in marketing, and 100 Women has been such a great way to stay busy and meet people while I’m applying. It’s also been a wonderful opportunity to learn more about this great organization and the people who make it so special!
I started helping out with 100 Women alongside my mom, Julie Sheehan, and I’ve already learned so much and been so inspired by everyone I’ve met.
In my free time, I’m usually hanging out with my friends, my cats and dog, or my family. Fun fact: one of my cats is named Rooster, and honestly, no one really knows why. And, a super hot take, but I don’t like chocolate…
